Water, Water Everywhere

Water is in our bodies, (70-80%), in trees, plants and animals a similar amount, the oceans, the atmosphere, in the nearest drain and yet we treat it with the greatest disdain! We poop into drinking-quality water, those if us without compost toilets, that is, to the disgust of Joseph Jenkins, who wrote Humanure , Some of us fire rubbish into streams and rivers and some of us bless ourselves from holy water stoups……such contrasting ways to use water!

Life's elixer

It may be that we have been ignoring the very elixir of life…Viktor Schauberger thought so. For the past hundred years there has been extensive experimentation to discover the nature of water and its capabilities.

Dr Bernard Grad of McGill University, Montreal used water 'charged' by the hands of a healer - Oskar Estebany - to sprout barley. He also used untreated water and water exposed to magnets. While the magnetised water and the healer-charged water gave superior germination and growth rates than the non-treated water, the 'charge' from the healer was found not to respond to equipment designed to detect magnetic fields! This was a different energy that further experiments both by Dr Grad and Dr Justa Smith, a biochemist, discovered to be 'intention.' Just by intending good qualities, an energy is discharged that can be picked up and retained by water. Water, say many scientists, has a memory.

When Dr. Jacques Benveniste made this claim in the 1980s, his work and his discoveries, despite having been made as a research scientist working for the French Government in their laboratories, were trashed by sceptical colleagues and the peer-review publication, Nature. However, several independent repetitions of his experiments have borne out his claim. A Japanese scientist has been working for several years with water energies and what water can store. His results stem from an amazingly simple fact - that all ice crystals are unique - to the simply amazing photographs he has taken - under magnification - of ice crystals.

Crystals

The basis of all ice crystals is a hexagon; the same six-sided form used by bees to make their waxen cells. Masaru Emoto took samples from the public water supplies of his own capital Tokyo, Paris, London, New York, froze and photographed them. The forms were not good, but similarly treated samples from the mountain springs used to make the best saki were. He thus gained information on water with 'good' energies and water with 'bad' or polluted energies.

Water music

Later, he tried playing music to samples of water before freezing it and taking its photograph……Mozart, Beethoven, Bach and Heavy Metal, Beat Music; the former, elegant hexagons, the latter not. Later again, he taped the names of individuals to sample vials and did it all again: Mother Teresa, Saddam Hussein…..you've guessed. Phrases were also tried: 'I love you', 'You're ugly', etc - again, marked differences in the results.

Sending love

In Masaru Emoto's third book about his work, The Hidden Messages in Water, he says that the consistently most perfect and beautiful crystal formation derives from water exposed to the phrase 'Love and Gratitude'. I read that book last autumn and, one day in October, as I left my home and turned to close the gate, I saw raindrops from an overnight shower glinting in the morning sun off the seedheads of rushes. I thought of Emoto's assertion and sent love and gratitude to the water for showing me its beauty - then I got an idea! I closed my eyes and sent Love and Gratitude for the Gift of Life to all the water in my body. A wave of well-being washed over me. Take time to try this and see what it does for you - or the plants in your care - or whatever and let me know what you experience.

Energised water

Some people bless their food before eating; an organic lettuce grower near Glastonbury was reported in Kindred Spirit some years ago to have got wonderful results from watering the crop with energised water.

Rescue Remedy and a myriad other essences are derived from water potentised by the energy of flowers. The same can be done using stones, (precious and otherwise), or cosmic events, such as an eclipse, or a thunderstorm, or a Solstice…

I think our culture may be missing a large chunk of possibility by continuing to ignore the potential of water. It's so necessary for all life forms and is so abused and wasted by most of us. Take water into your consciousness and love it - to Life.
