The future is local
A two day event showcasing the best of everything local and sustainable will take place on 26th and 27th October at the Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim.
'The Future is Local' event is designed to present ways of getting better value from homes, schools, business, communities and life in general through focusing on what is available locally. The event will feature a broad range of subjects including alternative technologies, recycling, permaculture, food producers, community gardens, allotments, natural beauty products and all things green.
There will be a number of speakers on the day, details of which are to come.
