Kellys shine on
The list of awards piling up at Moon Shine Dairies just goes on and on. They've received a Bridgestone Guide award again this year as well as Nantwich Cheese awards and are waiting to see the colour of their medal at the British Cheese Awards.
Two golds were won in the Great Taste Awards, one for their organic peach yoghurt drink, and one for their 'mini moo', organic vanilla probiotic yoghurt drink.
Through all that the Kelly family has managed to find time to develop new products. They've just launched a Blueberry range of yoghurt and yoghurt drinks which are soooo good and are working on a natural yoghurt with organic honey. This will be available to buy soon.
In addition, they will shortly begin their bottled milk service from the farm and local shops. The milk will be bottled in traditional glass bottles in a one litre size.
Based at Ladestown in Co. Westmeath, the energetic Kelly family began Moon Shine Dairy after they converted their dairy farm to organic in 2000. Since then they have developed a range of delicious and healthy cheeses, yoghurts and drinks.
